Julien de Smedt, Denmark 2006.

DESCRIPTION

Material: New bone china, hand polished.

The Crused bowls can be used for multiple purposes. The small bowl is perfect for snacks, while the large bowl can be used for salads or as a fruit bowl. The possibilities are endless. Julien de Smedt: “The Crushed bowls show big-scale architecture applied on small scale objects. The bowls are composed of equilateral triangles and principles we use for big-scale computer modeling. Adding human ergonomics and aesthetics to the equation we have derived a series of vessels that are carefully crushed for everyday use.”
